Dear Living Stones Family,

Imagine standing at the edge of a raging, flooded Jordan River, with the Promised Land just on the other side. This was the scene for the Israelites at Gilgal, a pivotal moment in their journey. Today, we find ourselves at our own "Gilgal" in South Reno, facing an exciting but challenging crossroad.

Six years ago, 80 dreamers planted Living Stones in Galena High School, determined to bring the Gospel to one of America's most unchurched cities. Look at how God has blessed us since then! Over 250 baptisms, 1,300 souls hearing the Gospel on holidays, nearly 800 souls gathering on regular Sundays, and hundreds in community groups and serving. We've given nearly $1.5 million to church plants, and organizations to help South Reno. God has been faithful!

But with this incredible growth come new challenges. Our most sought-after gatherings at 9:30 and 11:00AM are beyond the point where it feels like there is room. People are struggling to find parking, kids' classes are becoming maxed out, and some are even being turned away. This isn't just about numbers – it's about people seeking God and finding no room. We can't let this continue.

Now, God is calling us to cross our own Jordan to a better and bigger home. This isn't just about a building; it's about the souls in the building. Imagine a place where we can all worship together as one church, where everyone has room to come, where we're visible to all of South Reno as a beacon of hope and a center for the community. Picture a thriving children's program, and even a Christian school!

Some might worry about losing our "small church" feel, but the truth is, we're already a large church – and you still love it! Our DNA isn't changing. We're simply enabling more people to experience what you love about Living Stones. The key is staying connected through Community Groups and serving together.

To prepare for this exciting future, we're launching a 2-year ALL-IN Discipleship Initiative. Our goals over the next 2 years are 100% engagement in discipleship, and raising $6.3 million to keep bringing the Gospel to South Reno and for our future home. Here's how it breaks down:

1. Daily-Ministry: $2.8M for current operations ($1.4M annual budget X2)

2. New-Building: $3M for a down payment on our new home

3. Church-Planting: $500K to continue our commitment of planting churches

God is pleased with Living Stones South Reno and wants to do great things through us for His name. Let's put down our preferences and step up in faith. As God told the Israelites before they crossed the Jordan, I believe He's saying the same to us: "Consecrate yourselves, because the Lord will do wonders among you" (Joshua 3:5).
